tribute to jimmy choo

Jimmy Choo has been bought this morning by the luxury goods group Labelux at an estimate of £525.5 million, which means that it's market worth has nearly doubled since its purchase by TowerBrook at £225 million in 2007. Labelux plans to help the footwear brand expand in Asia.
I have to add, that the founder and main designer Tamara Mellon is a LCF graduate, which makes me naturally immensely proud. :) Although Jimmy Choo hasn't been much in focus since Sex and City, it still is one of the most celebrated accessories brand there is.
